Mandatory, not optional

Weather protection isn't a nicety. It's the law.

Anyone working outdoors is exposed to the weather — and the employer is responsible. The German Occupational Safety Act (§ 5), DGUV Rule 1 (§ 23) and ASR A3.5 make protection a duty, not an option.

Rain doesn't care about the weld. The inspector does. A soaked shaft, a chilled crew, an interrupted weld — every hour of weather downtime costs real money. The work umbrella turns that around: protection right where the work happens.

Caution: § 5 ArbSchG · § 23 DGUV Vorschrift 1 — the risk assessment must cover the weather; where there is a hazard, suitable measures must be provided at the workplace. Without protection, you risk liability and, in the worst case, a site shutdown.

Models

We know what our umbrellas can take. Five models, one premium class.

The premium class — Worker, Heavy and the two Pipeliners. Heavy-duty build for the toughest jobs: 36 ribs only here, which makes them wind-stable — around 12 kg at Ø 2,5 m, 15,5 kg at Ø 3,0 m. Where sparks fly, the flame-retardant cover holds up. Built to stay.

Especially worthwhile on the rectangular shape: the load on the rib ends is more uneven than on the round umbrella — the caps relieve exactly the critical points.

Technology

Built for the site — not for the showroom.

This is how our premium class is built — Worker, Pipeliner and Heavy: steel mast, 36 ribs, individually sealed seams, packs into the transport tube. Here, what holds is what counts.

36 ribs

36 ribs in the premium class (Worker, Pipeliner, Heavy), anchored with clips in the canopy — the distributed load makes the umbrella stiff and wind-stable.

Wind-stable in use

Ø 2,5 m up to 100 km/h, Ø 3,0 m up to 65 km/h — figures from our own field experience.

Steel mast, sealed seams

Steel mast with extension tube, every seam individually sealed. Built for daily setup and takedown.

Stand system for any ground

Earth, gravel, concrete, asphalt: SLAM RAM, Tripod Titan or heavy folding stand — the right stand option for every surface.

UV-stable, sealed cover

Tear-resistant, waterproof, UV-stable. Flame-retardant on the Pipeliner, Reinforced version and Rectangular umbrella.

Portable & durable

Premium models pack into the transport tube — 14 kg (Ø 2,5 m) or 18 kg (Ø 3,0 m). Dry it after rain and it lasts many years.

Stand system

The right stand option for every surface.

From the in-house ground spike to the heavy folding stand — the right stand option depending on surface and model.

Applications

From the pipe trench to the road — the right umbrella for every job.

Welder teams · large workpieces

Pipeliner Heavy Ø 3,0 m

Large flame-retardant area for several welders and long seams.

Assembly · service · surveying

Worker

Light, set without tools — the mobile all-rounder at the work point.

Road construction · traffic safety

Heavy Ø 3,0 m

Large area, highly visible (orange), stable on asphalt.

Civil engineering · landscaping · continuous use

Reinforced version

Rugged frame, made in Germany — for daily setup and takedown.

Long & angular workpieces

Rectangular umbrella

Rectangular area for long parts and angular setup points.

On the site

Typical spots where the weather would otherwise set the pace.

Pipeline welding

Dry seam, wind-free workspace — weld quality doesn't stand in the rain.
